First off, thank you for visiting escaprism.com! (formerly escaprism.org) We are in the process of getting the site where it needs to be, slowly building on it. We've brought it online just incase it might incite curiosity for people wanting to join the project.
hapticPORTAL is/will be an open source CMS project different from traditional CMS packages such as Joomla, etc. Rather, this project is more about building a scaffolding for the creation of original websites with modularity and theme-ability in mind. The site relies on PHP/MYSQL and a few other open source dependences. As of right now, this is just a mockup design of the default skin for the CMS engine - simply an HTML file. However, hapticPORTAL has been already implemented in several diverse environments and has gone through various onslaught which ultimately has allowed me to identify and fix some of the exploits of this package. At the current time, we're interested in recruiting talented medium/advanced skill set programmer proficient in PHP/MySQL/CSS/JS/HTML5/W3Validtor to help us create this site engine whilst providing an experimental environment here on escaprism.com to allow the platform to grow and mature beyond this site, and be open for others to use once it has received the necessary attention. We extend this invitation also to graphic designers who are able to extend their skills to site designs as well as general image manipulation excellence. If you're interested, we suggest you hang around. When we get portions of the site up, it will allow for you to use the contact form to contact us regarding your interest.
Right now the timeframe on the project is pretty slow. I am a full-time college student and as much as I have an appreciation towards this type of creativity and technology, I have other pursuits that keep me rather busy. This means that when a development team is formed, I will contribute when, or however I can. I have tried for years to mature this system all by my lonesome and all things considered, I have accomplished a lot for an autodidactic developer.
Update: Site has been upgraded past simple HTML mockup to a partial implementation.
